American Airlines passenger handcuffed to wheelchair and hauled off plane by cops after ‘stealing someone’s window seat’
A raging passenger was handcuffed to a wheelchair before being dragged from a plane after he allegedly refused to budge from someone else’s window seat.
The drama unfolded after the flyer is said to have become unhappy with where he was sat and moved — sparking a furious row which led to the evacuation of the jet just as it was about to take off.
The spectacle was filmed by another passenger and appears to show the man attempting to switch to a better seat on the American Airlines jet at Dallas Airport as it prepared to fly to Los Angeles.
But when the passenger who booked the seat asked him to move he reportedly refused.
He can be heard screaming: “Don’t force me. Don’t violate my freedom.
“That’s my seat. You don’t like it, switch it.”
He added: “I’m going to shut up and I’m going to be in that seat.
“Take me off this plane and you’re going to federal court.”
Another video showed him arguing with a woman telling her to shut up as it was his seat.
She told him: “You can’t talk to anyone like that, you’re getting kicked off of this flight.”
Passengers were then forced to leave the plane while cops boarded with a wheelchair.
As he is wheeled out he can be seen wriggling in an apparent bid to get free.
