New routes from Prague: Berlin and Dubai!
We have some great news for all fans of traveling from the Czech Republic.
Today 2 new routes were announced from the Czech capital Prague.
First route will be between Prague and Berlin (Tegel), operated by Easyjet.
There are currently no connections on this route after Air Berlin bankrupted recently, so Easyjet takes over this short flight.
The new route will be launched from 21st April 2018 three times per week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday).
The flights are scheduled mostly for business travellers:
- Berlin -> Prague 6:00 -> 7:05
- Prague -> Berlin 7:45 -> 8:50
The tickets are already available for purchase at the official website of Easyjet and price starts at 1438 CZK / €56 for return ticket, we expect even lower prices soon.
The second new route is actually an addition to already existing connection between Prague and Dubai.
Emirates announced second airplane on this popular route, which will be welcomed news for all passengers travelling to UAE, Asia, Africa or other destinations offered by Emirates.
This new route will be operated daily with new Boeing 777-300ER with capacity of 360 seats.
In addition to current connection operated by Airbus A380 which leaves from Dubai in the morning and flies back from Prague in the afternoon, this new flight will take place in the afternoon/evening:
- Dubai -> Prague 15:30 -> 19:55
- Prague -> Dubai 21:35 -> 5:30
The prices will probably remain similar to current Emirates prices, but this new connection will mean much smoother and shorter transfers on your connecting flight from Dubai.
Adding the second airplane means 2520 more seats weekly offered by Emirates to cover the growing demand.
Boeing 777-300ER on this route will offer 8 Private Suites in First Class, 42 lie-flat seats in Business and 310 spacious seats in Economy class.
It looks like Prague airport is really booming recently and we can expect further expansions soon!
