New Ryanair routes: Athens from Bratislava, Budapest and Santorini!
Ryanair just announced great news for all low-cost travellers: the company will start new route to Athens from 3 different airprots.
The infamous low-cost airline will start flying to Athens from Bratislava, Budapest and Santorini.
First flights on these new routes will start operating in Summer 2015.
The amount of flights per week to Bratislava and Budapest hasn’t been specified but we can expect 1-3 flights per week according to our experience. There should be 2 flights per day to Santorini.
The tickets are not bookable yet, we will inform you once they are uploaded to Ryanair’s booking system.
The price for the new route hasn’t been specified yet but if we consider other destinations available from Athens and distance to the destinations we can expect the return tickets somewhere between €50-€80.
The brand new airplane based at Athens airport which will be serving these 3 new routes will increase the amount of Ryanair’s destinations available from Athens to 12 airports served by 4 airplanes.
Ryanair expects to double its Athens traffic to 2.2 million passengers next year.
That’s pretty good news few days before Christmas, thank you Ryanair!
