Ryanair brings low cost flights to Athens airport!
Good news for all Greeks and anyone who travels to Greece!
Ryanair just announced they will open new base in Athens airport and start flying from Athens to rest of Europe.
According to the announcement Ryanair will fly to 6 destinations including Chania, London, Milan, Paphos, Rhodes and Thessaloniki.
Athens are known as notoriously expensive airport with minimum of low cost airlines and one way tickets reaching to €200 for one way flight in the summer season.
Ryanair’s arrival will mean a major decrease in the prices for all passengers traveling to or from Athens.
The company also announced launch of new base in Thessaloniki where 1 plane will serve 3 new routes to Athens, Pisa and Warsaw.
