Ryanair enters main Brussels airport, launches 10 new routes!
Ryanair further continues in massive expansion across their network.
With 6% increase in transfered passengers in November 2013, Ryanair announced launch of another new base – this time in main Brussels airport Zaventem.
New routes from Zaventem will be launched in February 2014.
Ryanair will fly from Brussels to 10 destinations: Alicante, Barcelona, Ibiza, Lisbon, Malaga, Palma, Porto, Rome, Valencia & Venice.
The company hopes to transport over 1.5 million passengers per year from Brussels and they will use Zaventem airport as base for 4 of their airplanes.
Most of the destinations will be serviced at least 2 times per day with Barcelona having amazing 42 flights per week, which means 6 per day.
Ryanair already operates from Brussels Charleroi airport where it offers even more routes. This low cost airport located bit further away from Brussels was one of the first Ryanair’s basis.
Tickets from Brussels Zaventem to listed destinations are already on sale and start at €15.99.
