Ryanair launches new route from Prague to Trapani in Sicily!
Ryanair yesterday announced great news for all fans of low cost traveling in the Czech Republic.
The infamous Irish airline decided to launch a new route from Prague to Trapani in Sicily, Italy.
This is the first low cost route from Ryanair connecting the Czech capital with one of the Mediterranean islands.
There is a huge demand from the Czech travelers for cheap flights to the South of Europe but so far there are just few routes and the airlines don’t seem to be eager to introduce new routes in this direction. Connections to the North, West and East Europe are way more common.
The new route from Prague to Trapani is the first announced route of new Summer schedule for 2017. Another routes will be shortly introduced according to Ryanair.
First flights to Sicily will take off on 28th March 2017.
The frequency on this route is twice per week with departures each Tuesday and Saturday.
Ryanair informed that the initial price will be 859 CZK / €32 for one-way ticket. We can expect even lower rates with various promotions and offers later on.
The tickets are already bookable on Ryanair.com and you can get the cheapest seats until 21st August 2016.
Great job Ryanair, we hope further low cost routes across whole Europe will be added next year!
