Ryanair opens 11 new routes to/from Ukraine: Lviv & Kiev!
Popular Irish low cost airline Ryanair announced today the launch of 11 new routes to/from Ukraine!
We heard some rumours few days ago already as we informed you and today the dream became a reality for many Ukrainians.
Ryanair will fly from Kiev to London, Stockholm, Manchester and Eindhoven.
The other new routes to/from Lviv will fly to Eindhoven, London, Budapest, Wroclaw, Krakow, Berlin and Memmingen.
The first flights will be operated in the end of October 2017.
The tickets are not yet available in Ryanair’s booking system but the price is expected to be around €20 for one-way flight and surely even less in various promotions!
As we informed 2 days ago, competitor Wizz Air also announced new flights from Lviv and Kiev, so we can expect a huge competition on these airports.
This is a surprising move from Ryanair which focused more on Western Europe but now decided to step up the game and compete with Wizz Air which focuses more on East European cities.
The frequencies will be from 5 flights per week in case of London to 2 or 3 flights weekly in case of routes with lower demand.
One cabin bag (55 × 40 × 20 cm, up to 10 kg) plus one small bag (35 × 20 × 20 cm) is included in the price of every ticket.
This is indeed excellent news for all fans of low cost flights and we hope to see more of such good news in the future!
