Ryanair opens base in Bratislava: 16 destinations, 60 flights per week!

Ryanair today announced it will open a brand new base in Bratislava, Slovakia.

The infamous low-cost company held a press conference in Bratislava where they announced launch of their 71st base in Europe.

This means 2 Ryanair airplanes will be kept in Bratislava and serving various destinations from this airport.

In total it will bring the amount of destinations available from the Slovak capital to 16 including newly opened Madrid.

The company will have total of 60 flights since the launch in March 2015.

This should help to increase amount of passengers transported to Bratislava to 1 million per year.

Ryanair celebrated its new Bratislava base by releasing 100,000 seats for sale across its European network, at prices from €19.99 for travel in December, January and February, already bookable on the company’s website.

  • London Stansted 2 x daily
  • Dublin 1 x daily
  • London Luton 4 x weekly
  • Milan 4 x weekly
  • Rome 4 x weekly
  • Birmingham 3 x weekly
  • Brussels 3 x weekly

  • Madrid 3 x weekly
  • Paris 3 x weekly
  • Alghero 2 x weekly
  • Barcelona Girona 2 x weekly
  • Edinburgh 2 x weekly
  • Malaga 2 x weekly
  • Palma 2 x weekly
  • Trapani 2 x weekly

Let’s hope the company will further expand in the region and increase the amount of flights to Eastern Europe as well which is now dominated mostly by Wizz Air.
