WOW! Wizz Air starts flights to Iceland, tickets from €50!

We have some really good news for all fans of low-cost traveling!

Wizz Air today without further information added new route to Iceland to its reservation system!

The new route from Gdansk in Poland to Reykjavik is now bookable at wizzair.com.

The cheapest tickets to Iceland are available for only 204 PLN which is around 50 Euros for one-way ticket!

This is super low price considered the regular tickets from Europe to Iceland were rarely available for under €200, regular price is more likely in €300-€500 range!

This price is valid only for members of Wizz Discount Club traveling with small cabin luggage up to 45 cm, if you want to fly with classic check-in luggage you will of course pay more, but you will still get amazing deal in the end!

The first available tickets from Poland to Iceland are available in June 2015 (first flight is on 19th June).

You can reach Gdansk also with cheap Polskibus buses which sell tickets from just 1 PLN / €0.25 and offer connection with Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria and other countries.

Another option is to fly with Ryanair from Warsaw or Wroclaw, prices start at just 19 PLN.

This is definitely good news which should finally increase the competition and lower the prices on flights to Iceland for European travelers.
