3 new routes from Prague: Kosice, Larnaca & Paphos (Cyprus)
The competition on Central European market increases every day with Wizz Air and Ryanair introducing new routes basically on weekly basis.
Ryanair just announced 2 new routes from Prague:
- Kosice in Eastern Slovakia
- Paphos in Cyprus
These routes will be operated from August with 2 flights per week.
Tickets are already bookable through ryanair.com and the prices start at just €60 for return ticket.
Yesterday, Wizz Air announced another new route to Cyprus from Prague:
- Larnaca in Cyprus
Wizz Air will fly also from August twice a week.
Prices are also good with return tickets available in €60-€80 range.
Earlier this month Wizz Air also announced new flights from Prague to Tirana in Albania and to Varna in Bulgaria.
These are very good news for all fans of low cost travelling since we have many readers from the Czech Republic.
It will be also interesting to see how dominant Czech airline Smartwings reacts to this news – they offer flights from the Czech Republic to Cyprus for absolutely ridiculous prices around €350, that’s gonna have to change now for sure.
The unpopular overpriced airline is on the verge of bankruptcy, seeking state aid for couple of months already.
