Travel news

Ryanair yesterday announced really good news for all fans of low cost flights from the Czech Republic and Spain.

The airline will launch flights from Prague to Madrid and Barcelona and vice versa this year!

These two destinations were much sought after from the Czech capital as there is very limited competition currently keeping the prices very high.

The regular direct tickets from Prague to Madrid and Barcelona cost around €200 now, with cheapest promotions in low season around €100.

Currently only Vueling offers lower prices, while Czech Airlines and Smartwings sell the tickets for high premium.

Ryanair will probably offer the cheapest return flights for approximately €40 as it does on other similar routes!

The flights will start in October 2017.

Prague to Barcelona will be operated every day, while flights to Madrid are planned 4 times per week.

Ryanair also announced other new routes to Barcelona: Krakow, Luxembourg and Venice (Marco Polo).

The new routes to Madrid will be opened from Glasgow and Bari also from October 2017.

The tickets are not bookable yet but we will inform you as soon as Ryanair adds them to their booking system.

This is really great news for all fans of low cost flights and we hope other low cost airlines will also keep extending their networks.
