Wizz Air launches new route to Iceland from Prague, tickets from €79!
Wizz Air today announced a new route that will make many travellers in the Czech Republic very happy.
The airline will fly from Prague to Reykjavik in Iceland!
This is much needed connection on a route dominated by CSA Czech Airlines which keep the prices really high (€200+) thanks to lack of competition.
Wizz Air will start flying to Iceland in May 2016.
There are 2 flights per week scheduled so far, in Wednesday and Sunday.
The tickets are already bookable in Wizz Air’s website from only €39 / 1069 CZK for one way flight.
This means you can book return tickets from the Czech Republic to Iceland for just €79 now (WDC membership required).
We can also expect even lower price in Wizz Air’s sale sooner or later.
Wizz Air also launched flights to Iceland from Wroclaw in Poland.
This is another good news for fans of low cost flights in the Czech Republic, after announced Ryanair’s expansion from Prague.
